Plain and simple and no frills: Dementia-related illnesses are horrible, for everyone involved. Even the smallest donation will help fund research that hopefully eventually will eradicate the illness and save lives.

For Your Information: Life is short! (FYI) is an outdoorsy lifestyle project started by Peter Helin and is aimed at that supporting dementia research through awareness.

Peter started this campaign after his own mother was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia. With a family medical history that includes Alzheimer’s disease on both sides of the family tree, Peter asked himself: “What if I only have 20 good years left? How do I make the most of them?”

Through FYI, Peter hopes to both improve his own physical lifestyle by spending time outdoors and doing things he loves with his family - maximising his proverbial ‘twenty years left’ - but at the same time, encourage others to do the same as well as create awareness and fundraise for dementia research.
