With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our friend and family member, Mirsad Vidjen. Mirsad was a man of generosity, a great sense of humor, and strength, whose presence touched the lives of everyone around him. Even during the toughest times, his courage and resilience inspired all of us.

We will not host a funeral service in honor of Mirsad’s memory and wishes. Instead, we are hosting a fundraiser to support a cause close to his and all our hearts: The Swedish Brain Foundation (Hjärnfonden).

An organization dedicated to advancing research into brain tumors, including glioblastoma, a particularly aggressive form of brain cancer that Mirsad battled courageously.
Furthermore, their research covers all parts of the human central nervous system which covers a range of injuries, diseases, and disabilities including ALS, MS, Cerebral pares, dementia various stress-related illnesses such as burnout, anxiety, PTSD, depression, addiction, and many more while also researching how environment, drugs, medicines, pollution, physical and psychological stress, etc., affect the nervous system, and thereby the individual.

By supporting this foundation, we can help ensure that more people receive the hope and care they deserve in the face of disease and adversity.

Your donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact. All funds raised will go directly to The Swedish Brain Foundation (Hjärnfonden) to support their vital work in research, education, and support for those affected by brain tumors and other adversities.
